                          Biography Of Theatre Mirrors

Captain Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey is known in Ghana as a lawyer and former MP/Deputy Minister. What is not known is that on 26th April 1986 he called 15 artistes together and after prayers declared the birth of a new theatre group called the THEATRE MIRRORS.

Powered on by two solid granite principles of By the Grace of God and Nobody is Indispensable the group has marched on consistently from that day until today with a track record of 1,350 public performances of a repertoire of 72 scripts.

The nominal roll is almost always between 25 and 35.

Theatre Mirrors boasts of having produced super stars like Kalsom Sinare, Emmanuel Armah, Enoch Hammond and Esther Yirenkyi, and they have powerful all time best scripts like For the Love of a Woman, Nana Adinkra and Medical Bills, each of which can be performed with two weeks notice.

Since 2nd July 2011 Theatre Mirrors has regularly performed every Saturday at their base, Citizens Center in Asylum Down.

They are directed by Emmary Brown and Dr Kabu Davies is their Resident Producer.
